I was thinking how stupid it is to loot huge money from employees in the name of TAX!, and just to make us feel better they give us this kinda stupid exemptions. Itz like grabbing your meal and giving you a smell of it.

How could anybody miss the basic funda. One should make paying tax should be affordable to everyone.
Then nobody tries to bunk it or find different ways to escape, I always compare Tax with Windows products. Windows never gives things for affordable prices, hence people pirate it.

It's not the generic calculation if one is earning 1 lakh they can grab 20 thousand out of it. Contemporary people have lot of commitments and responsibilities... And the heights is, government keeps increasing the prices of every damn thing... almost making life impossible. Neither it allows us to earn better nor they reduces the prices. I dono how it expects people to react for these....!!!!

Tax credit of Rs. 2,000 for income upto Rs. 5 lakh; Surcharge of 10 per cent for taxable incomes above Rs. 1 crore, No review of tax slabs; Commodity transaction tax for non-agri commodity trading; Tax Deducted at Source to be fixed at 1% on land deals over Rs 50 lakh; 30% excise duty hike on SUVs; 6% excise duty hike on mobiles above Rs. 2,000
It has always been a constant discussion between me n my friend about a famous reality show ROADIES. She is crazy about it, poor she believes things are true out there But for me all that looks like pre planned script. Well, I never tried to contradict neither prove it is wrong cause I was not sure. The other day I was googling for something and I found this interesting news on Times Of India. Huffff....

I dedicate the following article to her...

Reality TV participant Palak aka Gurmeet Kaur lashes out at the producers of MTV Roadies claiming that the show is planned and fake! In her own words...

I don't want to take names but MTV Roadies is totally pre-planned. Their show is tweaked on the basis of TRPs. And whichever participant they believe can help them garner more TRPs is pushed ahead in the show, irrespective of their true caliber...this is not 'reality' television.

In fact, I was told by someone that participants were made to sign a contract according to which, if they revealed the goings on in the show, they would have to pay a penalty of Rs 10 lakhs. Even I was asked to sign an agreement but thankfully I refused. At the time, I wasn't aware of this clause.

They got me back as a wild card entry on the show after I got eliminated and then started accusing me of bringing down their TRPs. If that was the case, why did they bring me back at all, and why didn't they let me go the second time when I was close to elimination? Instead, a strong contender like Sufi was sent out.

It was all a game, smartly played by the producers. First, they made me an aggressive character on the show and then told me that people hate me. Even in the semi-finals, Kiri had decided to fight it out at the finals with me but, for close to an hour, Raghu, Ram and other members kept on abusing him and made him choose Nauman.

Even when I fainted on the show, their cameramen surrounded me and kept on recording me from different angles for close to five minutes before getting me medical attention. This is not it. What they showed on screen was also edited. They showed me get up, crying within seconds and then added bytes by other contestants, who blabbered about how I had put up a fake act. This is the level they can stoop to.

They don't care about anyone. On purpose, they make incompatible, hot-headed people stay together to create some fireworks. They have cameramen following every participant and provoke us to say controversial things. Even the bike that was promised to me has still not been delivered to me.

I just want to tell every youngster out there, who dreams of becoming a Roadie, that it is an insensitive show. They only know how to exploit youngsters for money.

Intel wants to make your car HTML 5-compatible. The chip-maker is here at Mobile World Congress 2013 showing off a host of new technologies, and one of the most impressive is its HTML 5-powered telematics system concept. Based on the open-source Tizen IVI OS, Intel’s solution, which we demoed at the company’s booth, could go a long way in creating a single OS for automakers’ infotainment systems, saving in-car app developers from having to rewrite their apps for different manufacturers’ OS.

Currently, Intel’s system is at the proof-of-concept stage, meaning it’s still quite a long way from being implemented in any vehicles, though the company did say it is already talking to major automakers. During our hands-on with the system, Intel demoed its various capabilities, including its ability to interact with a vehicle’s critical systems.

According to Intel, some in the auto industry have been wary of using HTML 5 in a vehicle due to issues with lag. To ease those fears, Intel connected a small computer running the infotainment system to a touch-screen display and arcade-style video game steering wheel.

Tapping the touch screen elicited an immediate response from the system, allowing us to access Google Maps for navigation and change songs stored on the system’s hard drive or a smartphone. The operating system will even be capable of outputting real-time information coming directly from your vehicle, including tired pressure and engine temperature to the display.

One of the OS’s more impressive features was its ability to turn two onscreen tires using the demo unit’s faux steering wheel. Equally impressive was a gear selector situated next to the steering wheel that, when pulled, automatically displayed the gear our fake car was in on screen.

Beyond being able to read user inputs, the Tizen IVI OS will also enable vehicle manufacturers to provide users with a host of in-car apps without forcing developers to create special versions of their apps for different vehicle makers. Although the system is still in its early stages, what we saw appears to be a good start. Hopefully we’ll see something similar to it in vehicles sooner rather than later.
