for smart devs, and devices

I am delighted to announce that we finally launched our own written framework Smaati.
Smaati is a compact HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript based framework for building next generation kinda web apps for mobiles, tablets and desktops. The framework features various UI components(for mobiles), like navigation headers & footers, toolbars, search panels, buttons, lists, forms and. etc, and javascript libraries which makes easier DOM access , manipulations. Besides that, there are lot of in built utility functions available which reduces your tedious implementations.

Why did we do this?

The idea behind Smaati is to make web front-end development easy and rapid. Having seen many web developers and teams, we realized that "NOT EVERYBODY IS JAVASCRIPT EXPERT ", yet it plays a major role in web development.  There are many well proven frameworks are already available in market, but we aim to make it even simpler, speeder and smoother.

Who built it?

It is me and my friend Sadeesh Senthil build this together over 3 months time.
He has been a great support for this project, and contributed a lot. As a first release we are providing limited functionaries(still in alpha), we continue to enhance it, including documentation, tutorials examples and libraries.

Few highlights:

  • Native UI widgets (for mobile, tablet devices)
  • Multi-Scrollers
  • Data Binding
  • Drag-and-Drop API
  • Transition Effects
  • Built-in touch support

What do we support?

Currently we are support Chrome, Safari and Firefox for desktops.
For mobiles/tablets only webkit based browsers (Android, IOS & Blackberry). We are in progress to support or at least to provide a fall back functionality for other browsers too.

Well, It's hard to explain everything here, But I want you to go visit my smaati page and write me back. I value your comments.

Well, the title explains a lot. Before I start saying anything, a bit of introduction is needed about myself. Ok, By profession I am a software architect. Woww that sounds great, doesn't it? But, lemme tel you how!!

I was an average student in my schooling, of course one should go to school first, to gain good marks. I am not sure whether I was not interested in studies or I chose not to! I remember well that my mom beating me for years to make me go to school and study. Well, Just to escape the pain, I somehow managed to study till 10th standard. I was waiting to grow adult, so that my mom wouldn't beat me anymore. No way! then I realized few things don't ever change. She continued pushing me...

I know very well that I cant get away from studies, that made to get my graduation on hand. But it's never more than 50%. I was very good to study only that extent(35% - 50%), as if more is gonna ruin my intelligence.. LOL.

During computer lab, all my friends were very serious learning programs, Just like them even I tried hard.. hufff, It was boring... I used to argue with my lecturers that is a machine language... better if it is written by machine themselves rather than a human beings. Everybody used to laugh... Well, I was more turned by artistic stuff, like MS Paint. My first day lab I drawn beautiful Aishwarya's pic. Everybody were so amazed, then I though It was my cup of tea. I chosen graphic designing as my career. Learnt Graphic and 2D Animation tools.

Well, First job in Hyderabad as a Web & Graphic Designer. It was cool. I was so excited every time with my creative stuff. People used to turn on to my works. Everything was fine, two years just went off lika spark. One thing which I never cared was, that company has a software training too, and the faculty was very reputed, students were crazy about him. For a moment I thought why couldn't  we learn too? Well, that was Java, J2EE. I started attending Java classes, but later on, I was refused to continue by the management.
They never wanted me to learn anything and move out. That imposes me to learn things on my own. I spent hell a lot of time to understand evil(it was my feeling those days) programming. I was reading like an insane person. I slowly started realizing, programming is very close to our real life. Only difference I found was it is Logical, and a real life is Physical. I failed before because I though it was to do with ugly mathematics. But it's not only that. It is all about our common sense. Yes "I agree" math is needed, but more than that a bit of common sense makes it rather simpler. I then figured out and learnt how to learn programming. It's completely different face and approach than in books or our collage faculty, perhaps that helps only for those born intellects but not for the others.

Bravo, from then journey was long, I worked on J2EE technologies for almost 4 years, became a team lead, simultaneously worked on many other technologies. Now I am a Chief Software Architech, Working on Mobile applications.

So, What I strongly believe is, Everybody is capable of writing code, all they need is lil common sense.

Ganpati Visarjan 2012 was held on 29 September in Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and other places of India.
Nothing to contradict, I could see many forms of ganapathi statues on the streets(before he is sink in sea) and I was just thinking, if ganapahti himself comes to streets and sees his own statues, wouldn't he be wondered?? If the answer is YES, how would his reaction be? and how he can prove that is not he? and who can he go and explain his concern??

So, what I want to say here is, human creativity has gone beyond gods expectation. LOL....We have reached to a stage where we are creating god!. And I am proud to belong to that species.

It took years for me to start my first blog. Ufffff, Finally I started. I was always feel like writing whatz happening around me, my office, my experiences, technologies, friends, colleagues, management, current affairs... etc. But everywhere I was struggling for something the other. Sometimes technologies challenge me, sometimes management, and sometimes my personal life. Everywhere I had glitches. Well, It's never about the time, it is about mind set and mood. I believe to write a good blog needs a good mood and passion.

Now, time has come. I will write every singe thing what I though of,  There are so many inspirations, support, conspiracies, successes and failures. etc. lot more to say. I don't really know how it helps somebody, or it might hurt people's sentiments. I dono yet. But I decided to write...

Here we start...
